The Ottoman empire removed Islamic punishment (whipping, hand cutting....etc) and introduced more civilised ways to deal with criminality, this was 700 years ago...just to show how backwards these guys want to go.

I was in KFC on some scummy back street in Luton a few years back and of a packed store (staff included) I was the only 'white' guy there.

No problem with that personally, but there was also a very horrible atmosphere there like a pure form of hatred that was festering.

I remember think to myself when I left, that one day these same people will be at the forefront of terrorism somewhere.

When / where have isis isil come from as up until very recently
I had not heard of them.
And from the back footed response from usa & uk it appears
our intelligence services hadn't or they would have been geared up
ready, & talk of them would of been common knowledge.
They do seem very well prepared & equipped.

It strikes me that the al Qaeda threat wasn't enough & a larger
more powerful muslim threat had to be found.
