It's funny but almost every dominant culture that has existed has always considered other cultures that either were their equals or that they have subjugated as "savages", uneducated, uncivilized, etc. Always referring to them as being violent and as aspiring to be more cerebral.

We almost always assume that an ET race will have equal tech in war fighting as they do in space travel. That's a human-centric thought process. We assume it because it's how we would be, nothing more. I posit that we are unique in the universe because of our violent tendencies and that we could very well overwhelm a technologically superior for with the savagery of our attacks. It's quite logical that an advanced ET race would never comprehend something as dramatically stupid as a shahid martyrdom.

NO Country can pose a threat to the US without carrier battle groups to bring the fight to us. They have no way of transporting trooos nor supplying them, they simoly cannot fight thisbfar away from their soil.

Weve spent the last 100 years perfecting our ability to wage sustained warfare across the globe. No one else can do it. Not even the russians.

They literally could not get their troops here to fight. Without naval and air support they couldnt possibly land any ground troops, and anything trying to air drop troops would be blown out of the sky before it got halfway across the ocean by OUR carrier battle groups.

In the modern world, you have to have carriers to wage war, and you have to have the supply chain to support them and the means to transport and land troops. China doesnt have it.

They could never land a conventional force anywhere near us, its logistically impossible for them right now. Unless they nuked the shit out of the coasts theyd never get near here.

It's not just the carriers themselves... its the entire naval doctrine. They need battlegroups to protect the carriers... they need logistics to supply them... they need resupply points across the globe, constant rotations of battlegroups and personnel, the list goes on. That's not even getting into the air wings, parts, personnel and supplies that goes along with them

Our doctrine came out of WWII experiences, itd be a massive undertaking and ive seen estimates thatd itd take them 50 years to figure it out. The russians never did.
