When I go out at night I'm very aware of animal behaviour around recently, because alcohol shuts off the "human" part of the brain pretty good and it's pretty damn bizzarre sometimes. Esp. if one has an attractive female (being 6'1 240+lb doesn't always help, some people are just so driven by instincts during these monets it's surreal.).
 It's very similar to a lion coming to kill a leader of a pack to be able to impregnate the female lions.

I'm pretty chill and friendly person, but I've learned to look mean just for the sake of that reason. But if the amount of alcohol consumed is big enough - they doesn't care about anything, it's a lizard brain in action during these moments (that's when being able to give a proper look is most important. As it's not very clever to get physical each time in these situations.).

I learned to tell difference between girls that would seek such attention and real women a long time ago. Main factor was age but mate is 20 and has a stand up gf and I see that quality in her.

Yeah people have a really distorted view of what danger is and what it means to be dangerous or alive for that matter.

Last night I went for a walk to look at the stars(there is no moon for the next few nights)

Anyway I went without a cell phone, lighter or any supplies into the complete dark on total geeky impulse.

By the time I got far enough from town to actually see the stars, I realized just how vulnerable I was and how safe even the toughest mofo is.

in the woods alone anything can fucking ruin you. A bear, a coyote, fuck tripping or falling due to poor vision can put you in a wheel chair. Simple things like needing to take a shit or getting away from flies are luxuries.

Obviously we've all been in the woods and it rarely feels dangerous, but going without any form of backup, firestarter, the ability to see, etc is fucking trippy. We all live 50 miles give or take from the absolute edge yet never think about taking a look

That is something I miss in Ireland. The last wolf here was killed in 1700s. No bears, no wild hogs. Nothing. Worst you could stray across in a woodland area is some doggers or a drug deal. End result is wild overpopulation of deer and rabbits with end result of crop destruction and deers killing drivers but hippies don't understand those arguments. Foxes eat from bins if you're wondering.

I get distracted in gym looking at rabbits outside. There were none a year ago. 6 or 7 at start of summer, Must be 30 or 40 now.
