3:00am my 18 month old daughter shouts "Daaaaaaaaaaadddddddeeeee eeee" because she wants a teddy she's noticed at the other side of her bedroom. - don't want kids.

7:00pm both run down the hallway and try to open the door at the same time when they hear me pull on the driveway from work, and look just as excited to see me as they did 100 times before - want to have kids

I would never bring a child into this shit hole of a world.  You think the economy is bad now?  Most kids today will not be able to find a decent job, let alone one at McDonalds.  It only gets worse from here.  

Not having a child ensures that no women can extort money from me, now or later.  It's the only way to avoid Murphy's law.

Majority of women MUST have kids... regardless of how many college degrees they have, how high up in the corporate world they are or their social status.  By the time they turn 40, their biological directive needs to be fulfilled.

Bingo! My wife and I have 3 dogs ( 2 shelties and a mutt , all from the rescue shelter).
I'm 55 and on wife #4. Never wanted kids, and never had kids.
I consider them to be work, money and stress.

My gf's mom had 2 kids (my gf and her brother). She's a VP at a bank in Toronto and makes more than enough money to live as she pleases. Her dad owns his a business, not 100% sure what he does, but from the sounds of it its a multimedia production thing for corporate events (I may be wrong). So having kids isn't necessarily a death sentence to your career. Plus, they had theirs at an older age, I think around 35 or 36 they had their first. By that time they were both comfortable with money and were ready for kids.

My wife and I already have a 2 year old son.

Mostly I love him, sometimes I really love him, many times i just tolerate him, and there are times I wonder why we had him.

Real talk.

However, kid is going to be a monster. At 2 hes in the 95th percentile for height, 90th for weight, hes as big as a 4 yr old..... too early to tell how his structure will be, but he looks to have my broad ass shoulders.

And hes already tearing apart mechanical things and trying to figure out how they work, so it appears he got his fathers mechanical aptitude.

Genetics i guess.
