Why do Jewish people in US support the dem party

Over the years in the US it seems like the democrats have more or less abandoned the Jewish people as far as support for Israel and also democrats are largely against capitalism in which god know has made many Jewish people millionaires and billionaires because of the strong work ethic?

It comes down to the way they view themselves in relation to overall society.  There is an innate feeling among many Jews, and justifiably so in many cases, that they are the perennial outsider and thus sympathize with other groups they consider outsiders.   Ironically, much of what is considered neo-conservationism has its origins in Jewish intellectuals.

Most Jews are secular and very liberal.  The few that are religious conservative tend to vote Republican.

Israel is one of the most liberal nations in the world, which makes you wonder why most liberals in Europe, US and Canada oppose Israel and tend to side with Israel's enemies.

Yes, I would say that the split is about 70% Democratic, 30% Republican here among many people I know (and data).

Democratic Jews are more liberal, and feel that like others, the Republican party is too much in the religious right.
 Republican Jews are more businesslike (not gov, social or Hollywood types) and want to see their hard work actually go to them,
 not to taxes all the time.

The reason is simple. Most American jews vote Democrat because they tend to be loathsome, disgusting, self hating cowards. Or, as with the hassidic community in Brooklyn, they vote Democrat (believe it or not) to ensure a steady stream of unemployment checks, food stamps and other freebies from the taxpayer. 

The only real jews are the Israeli's. They are brave, resourceful, smart and most importantly, proud of being jewish. Despite the fact that they are outnumbered 1000 to 1 by subhuman savages, they refuse to relent.

Politicians are now putting out reactions, including how horrified they all are, as they should be.
But this is only the latest in a string of attacks on Jews in the New York area that hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves, from the authorities and politicians, or from the media.
While the media did pay attention to the deadly attack in nearby Jersey City on a kosher store, when four people were killed by two extremists who had a connection to the Black Hebrew Israelites, there have been continual assaults in New York City that haven’t gotten attention.


As the NY Post noted just two days ago, there had been eight attacks just this past week during Hanukkah, all being investigated as anti-Semitic hate crimes. Police called the spree of attacks “alarming.” All but one occurred in Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn. Virtually all the attacks are similar, Jews walking on the street, approached then punched or otherwise assaulted, with an expletive “F–k you, Jew!” One incident involved a man running into a Lubavitch center and yelling about shooting people with a gun.
One reason that media may not be giving the incidents the coverage they deserve is that the may be that the attacks don’t fit the “white nationalist” mold into which the media seems to want to confine anti-Semitism. Virtually all the attackers are black men or women and that doesn’t fit that narrative.
But then another problem is not only is there a lack of attention and media coverage, there’s a lack of accountability/punishment, thanks to the liberal change in laws.
Tiffany Harris allegedly punched three Orthodox Jewish women this week, yelling “F–k you, Jews” as she attacked them. She was released without bail despite admitting the crime to the police, having an open harassment and assault case from November 2018 and having a conviction for felony criminal mischief for which she served no time and for which she failed to make court appearances.

Large metro areas (NYC, etc.) are most always Democrat.  The heartland is where Trump won.

Same here. That said, from a voting standpoint, Jews are really a non-issue. In New York State, because of the large black and Hispanic population, over 30%, even if every Jew voted Republican, the state would still be very blue. That’s the real reason Dem leadership appears to have abandoned Jews. Not useful anymore.

At this point, the only reason to vote for the Democratic Party is if you are a socialist and you’re looking for government handouts. White ethnics and Asian simply don’t fall into this category.
