To be honest, even the AMGs feel on the slow side. Could just be me though - but the AMGs I drove felt laggy when you put your foot down and even when it did pick up - there wasn't much there.

Actually - never seen those out here.

Cars of that nature are pretty much taxed out of the market here. So the dealers don't stock them - well, not any Benz dealer I've been to in Bangkok anyway. There are specialty 'importers' that bring (smuggle) in Ferarris & the like and I would guess they might stock them. Out of my price range those places.

You'd be looking at just over $200k for that $60k car in Bangkok.

Most Benz series have an "AMG" version as most BMWs have an "M Sport" version - it's those I'm comparing. When looking at a BMW M Sport vs a Benz AMG with 'similar' HP & engine size, the BMWs piss all over the Benz.
