Round by me - it's all Muslim and all friendly - except the Sunnis - who are completely fucked in the head - they don't even like the other Muslims.

My wife's best friend is Muslim - I always dread the two of them going out - they always come back totally shitfaced. Glad her mate got off the meth and e's though and now just sticks to a drink now & again.

My neighour is a Muslim, married to a Buddhist girl. He likes a night out on the pop too. Pretty sure they wouldn't be too keen on him over in Sunni street either...

Like every place - it has it's good & bad points. Overall it's good I think, although I'm not sure about having a son in his late teens here. It's a bit of a dangerous time.

I am a British expat and I've been here 16 years. I am fairly well integrated - I don't live in an expat community, I mostly go out to places expats don't (but sometimes you need a Sunday Roast and a pint), my kids speak Thai and English and understand the social do's & don'ts of both cultures.

I don't tell Thai people they should change or pretend I'm better than them.
