Dorian talked about that, that he liked to stay covered up and the trend at the time was to show off to everyone, and everyone always knew what each other looked like coming into the O...

So when he'd show up and stay covered up, guys would always be whispering and trying to get a glimpse of what he looked like, and it bothered guys because they couldn't guage their progress or the competition.

Valuable how??? Have you ever competed? If so did you really base your diet and training on how the other competitors looked???

Read above, Dorian talked about it.

Apparently when Dorian took the reigns, initially he liked to come in small and shredded, so the other guys were trying to come in as ripped as possible...

And then in 93 he decided to come in a bit heavier amdndiet less, and then everyone had to switch their game plans because now they were chasing his mass...

 And they didn't know that until the BW photos came out, precise!y because Dorian hid himself away and kept covered up, so the competition had no idea what he was doing.

Just like any other competition at high levels....
