TBH everytime I see someone with a big back pack...they get my attention, you can tell which ones are heading to work and which ones are not at that time in the morning, especially on my line as its a few stops from the city almost everyone is an office worker and dressed like that.

There's lots of converts, a black guy or a white English guy with no beard, office attire and a big gym bag and no one will look at you twice. TBH I feel more relaxed seeing a bearded man wearing traditional paki clothes....the 7/7 bombers pretended to be back packers.

My son and I have been talking about this the past week. It's the ones blending in that won't look out of place that is the threat. It's times like this that I am lucky to be in tropical Australia. I remember a few years ago they found terrorists in Melbourne Australia who were planning some attack. The feeling that it can happen here was terrifying.

My mate was on selection and at the end of the escape and evasion bit he was ordered to shoot a dog. He refused and was RTU'd by the Capt in charge. He did go on to great things though.
