They pretty much did. There were some who were unemployed, causing trouble, joining gangs. They now have a now tolerance policy so yes the bad ones are gone. Some were literally deported :) others left on their own accord.

I haven't seen any gangs here. Oh well it's a good thing they got rid of them. I like to be safe when I do travel somewhere and the Gold Coast was always pretty chilled.

There were some biker gangs there. One guy even had the word mongol tattooed on his head (maybe not realizing mongol means retard in Ozzie slang). These gangs had Maoris, paxific islanders and also lower class white people in them. They were causing a nuisance but were exterminated by some tough law enforcement. All gone now and very chilled. Easy to get gh and test from various clinics. Many of the dealers were bikers and are now gone.

No I am 14 hours drive by car, from the Gold Coast. I am further north where the Great Barrier Reef is.

Its all beautiful. I love the Gold Coast but I love the beaches more up here and it's only an hour and a half drive to airlie beach where I can board a boat and go out to the reef and islands. I am going to airlie beach soon before it gets too hot so that I can enjoy this weather/ sunshine.

Australian 'gangs' do they even exist, I've never met an Aussie bloke that seemed tough enough to have fights etc? Maybe things have changed since Steve Irwin passed and they are toughening up etc
