I agree. It's just a fancier version of fast food. If you live in NY or NJ you should know what good Italian food is. I find the minute I get leave NJ and the incredible diverse ethnicity foods all the restaurants are terrible to just okay.  Ate at a fancy looking Italian restaurant in South Carolina and the food was made without any garlic that I could taste and the sauce tasted like it was filled with sugar. That's not Italian.
