Obama has in fact lead significant attacks on ISIS and doing so in a way that the morons can't argue, no ground troops etc. Basically he is doing what the morons want but unlike the moron Bush isn't getting into another long drawn out campaign.

You military geniuses really have this figured out. Obama's airstrikes won't stop these guys. They'll kill them but until we capture folks and gain intell, that will be very difficult without "boots on the ground". SOF can only do so much. The Arabs won't fight and the free Syrian army dudes are all ISIS sympathizers. We might have a shot turning some of the tribes but without a large US footprint to secure gains that's going to hard as well. SOF can't hold ground. SOF needs conventional forces to support them....if the Pesh don't come south they won't even have what they had in A-Stan in 2001 with the Northern Alliance. Obama is fucking this up already.
Now they complain about no boots on the ground, fucking a. There is no reason to risk a life of an american in this situation like that.
The arab "armies" cannot be counted on, well for much of anything. They are useless, and if the POTUS is counting on them to take\hold territory after airstrikes, the airstrikes will need to go on for eternity.

There is no point, the US doesn't fight to win anymore, only "contain". So 10 or so years down the road fighting the same camel fuckers. There isn't anything to "win". Unlike the last wars of the past where there was a definite outcome with lasting results (land division, reparations, consolidation of power, etc..) there is nothing here to actually 'win'.It isn't like the US is suddenly going to start developing and selling time shares in the region.
