Why do most of the IFBB sanctioned contests have shitty prize money?

I dont see the point of any pro trying to compete in anything other then the Olympia or Arnold Classic.  The promoters of these small shows obviously make a decent profit, as they continue to hold the contests year after year.

I am assuming that the only reason most pros compete in these "small shows" is to qualify for the Olympia, or to get a name.

$10,000 dollars (before taxes) for first place, is just pathetic.

The sponsors should be to blame as well. All of these tightwad supplement companies need to put a little more back into the industry that makes them.

Who is the current rep for the pros?

There needs to be a minimum of 25k for first place, in all IFBB sanctioned, pro contests.

There is money that can be added from the sponsors. Kids still aspire to look like Superman or the Rock or the latest, Muscled, action hero.

The top supplement companies (and the IFBB) are making money hand over fist.

You might enter a contest and win prize money for being really fucking good at your hobby, but that's definitely not why you do it.

You should promote your own show and call it the shizzo classic or the shizzo grand prix offer 25 grand for first place and you could even guest pose, you would be a force to be reckon with in the bodybuilding industry.

he did,but it was too circus wwf/wwe like,the characters,the announcers were embarrassing..the guys tried they really did,most turned there back early in there ifbb or recent pros and few veterans careers to go 4 it....ifbb was running strong then..best of the best..
