Have a had a few but honestly I prefer other swiss brands like Breitling, Omega, and Panerai.

If you buy one consider the Rolex Deepsea which is a cool diver.

I have a couple of Omegas and a solid gold Longines that I don't really wear anymore. I am pretty hard on watches, but I love the mechanicals.

I love the classic look of the SS Sea Dweller, but for diving, I much prefer a dive computer anyway.

FFS, most days I wear a Gshock (heresy).

I once had a mother of pearl face Rolex Oyster knock off. It was awesome because most people couldn't tell the difference.

Only cost me 25 bucks.

Love G's!!  Deepsea is a larger version of the SD.

I remember when they were a HUGE hit back in the 80s. Everyone just had to have one.  Kids used to cheat on their math tests using them ha lol

I really like those, anything but a plain black face Sub TBH

I have my eye on a half gold GMT II, Milgauss are also growing on me, nice and simple.

Ever since I was a kid, I read about Castro and wanted to be just like him

1-rule over peasants
2-smoke cigars
3-wear Rolexes

I failed miserably at number one. Two and Three are a consolation prize.

Don't you find 40 to 42mm kind of small?

Personal favourite, received one engraved for my 18th birthday. Holds a sentimental value.

Any big shot sporting a Patek?

Yes, on me, 45mm is a minimum or it looks like a ladies watch.

That's the thing about the GMT ii, im thinking at work may be OTT, in the city everyone wears Rolexes, omegas...etc but usually a conservative approach is applied, I never see gold watches or bigger more expensive watches (AP, Hublot...etc) I think Daytona is about the highest priced watch in our office.

Ever since Nick Toscani tried to blag us with his fake knock offs, everyone fell in love with the Depeche Mode Hublot:

Nice. I have one almost exactly like that in 18k rose gold. Talk about sentimental value: my grandfather used it to bribe his way out of a concentration camp in Antwerp in the latter days of WWII. Got it back somehow.

Personally no, I feel like I'm not wearing a watch when I put the Rolex on, but I have a small wrist for someone my size.

I have two other 44's, I like the feel and the size TBH, but after wearing a smaller watch for a while they take getting used to.

Same here.

Patek is another league, if you get home and pull up to your drive and park your Bentley in between the Ferrari 458 and your wife's Cayenne GT then you deserve a Patek lol.

And don't even get me started on the Richard Mille.

I always believed thats its time for a Phil when you loose your old one and just order a new one.....If you sweat scratching the face to the point of a cold paranoid hysteria, youre not ready for one...I broke my Ebel, sent it out to get fixed was out 3 months, didn't blink wore my other one.
