Apple IOS 8 upgrade. Did you do it? It fixes the embedded video on Getbig!

Have any of you guys updated?  Upgrade has been out since 1:00 EST. Curious how Apple fucked up.

The type-ahead suggestion bar is nice. I like it.

Also, opening up the Fingerprint scanner SPI to 3rd party apps allows me to open my 1Password database with my fingerprint rather than typing in the vault password. Very nice.

Wish they'd add flash support.

Since Flash is a horrible security hole, it's unlikely. If they added it, Zombie Steve Jobs would kill the entire dev team.

true but they're mutually inclusive

if you have the passcode (4 digits) you CAN have the fingerprint

if you DON'T have the passcode on you CAN'T have the fingerprint on.

that's annoying.

I am thinking about waiting for the samsung Note 4 Edge. Any thoughts AJ? (samsung note 4 edge or riding out my iphone 5s until the iphone 7 is realeased next year because frankly i'm not even impressed by the iphone 6 plus and not at all with the iphone 6).

I think that the Samsung Note and Galaxy series are great phones. I am not really an Android guy (too much investment in iOS these days), but if I went Droid, it would probably be a Galaxy S5

I'm actually more of an android person and regret ever switching to iphone when my Note 3 got lost skiing last year. I loved thje Note 3. Beautiful device. The pen--I used that pen for everything including texting.

Sharp learning curve, but well worth it.

i will check out the galaxy five though. i like that it's smaller than the note. the note WAS a bit big especially when trying to go out casually. you have to put it in your back pocket or else it looks like you're carrying an ipad mini in your front pocket

finished it.  Like the typing thing a lot.  Way better than the old way.  Used to fuck up things I wanted to write.  Hate that it added 4 new apps that I'll never use but also cannot delete.  WTF!  Also annoying that every email asks me to save the person as a contact or ignore.  Don't need that feature.
