It is often said that the greatest disqualifier for the job of President is desire for that job. The same can be said for this "mod" thing that you seem to covet so.

It is a position of some increased "power" (LOL @ "power" on a bb message board) and responsibility. I find your covetousness of this position off putting.

Ron should just find some 100 post jagoff and make him mod. Evidence would suggest that he would be better at it.

Do you feel you've been that way up till now? Because objectively, you haven't. Ron might very well look at conduct as a poster as a precursor to what conduct as a moderator might be like.

In your writings looking for this position, you repeatedly invoke other board moderators as a reason for your elevation to that role. As if their misbehavior should erase yours. Also, you give the impression, whether you know it or not, of "sharpening knives" in preparation for your big day. This is not a behavior that a board administrator looks for in a moderator.

You bring up valid points AJ. I have been a Getbigger for 10 years now (off and on) and have done some regrettable things. But the same can be said for most veteran posters.

Sharpening Knives? I would be the exact opposite. Everyone is welcome to post.
