only 5 judges had to for him to get a perfect score. Not hard to believe at all

7 judges. They had 9 judges and disregard 2 top scores and 2 low scores. So for a perfect score u would need 7 ones

Yes for a perfect score. 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 2 2.   So scratch out the top and bottom two scores and u are left with a perfect score of 5.

9 judges place each competitor

2 of the judges that scored the competitor in the highest placing gets thrown out..

2 of the judges that scored the competitor in the lowest placing gets thrown out

So 5 we know place him first and the 2 out of the 4 that got thrown out also had have placed him 1st as well

I have seen judges talking to each other and pointing at competitors during the judging, it should never happen.
