What woman in her right mind could resist a Palumbo or Kovacs (RIP) offseason or even contest-ready?

Well he was tall, good looking and had a great physique. A lot of BB don't have all of that.

Exactly, Rarely you see a tall handsome guy take bodybuilding seriously.

Branch is what comes to mind when women think of bodybuilders.

What turns off most women is the extreme vascularity but they are not aware that a bodybuilder only looks like this when he is doing a contest.

I don't think so. He is big but not super veiny and he has good facial aesthetics. Women would love him.

I think we are back to the old saw that women don't much care for men that objectively look better than them due to poor self-esteem. A dime with a smoking body won't mind this dude AT ALL.

Agreed. A beautiful women would not mind being seen with this guy and dating him. Solid build and good looking. No way a hot women would turn him down, especially one with good confidence.

A good face will def help him, since most women are much more face oriented. But again, he carries too much muscle mass. Only a small group of women will feel attracted to this.

Yeah, I remember that Parker once posted a vid with a group of single males and females. Based on their facial geometry and other data, researchers estimated the potential couples, and guess what... They had a pretty high success rate at the end of the test.

Good looking people go with good looking people (of course exceptions to every rule).

I still disagree. A gorgeous women would love to be with a guy like that (the pic I posted). Like I said, he is big but not grossly big and he has good facial aesthetics. It would be a small select women who will like him because that small selection of women are the only ones who would be confident enough to date him. Most other women would not date him not because hes too big, but because they would feel intimidated to date someone like him. They would always think he is cheating on them.

The thing is that men and women have a different perspective on this; the animated picture shows this. You say it right: "a small select women", so most women don't feel attracted to him, and not only out of insecurity. A light muscular <200 pound guy like Brad Pitt in Troy attracts way more women, no wonder why both Pitt & Troy were a big hit.
A bigger lean guy, say 210 and more is much more focused on eating well & working out than a lighter guy. It's also this lifestyle (some call it obsession) that turns off women (I speak from experience, LOL).

I agree with you about the lifestyle. Id say most women would not want a really muscular guy due to the stigma associated with bodybuilders (they spend hours in the gym, eat all day, etc).

No, most of then simply have other priorities. A guy who spends hours in the gym/kitchen/tanning salon/etc prob isn't the right one to start a family with...
It sucks, but this is what most women want.

Dude, but youre talking about COMPETITIVE bodybuilders. I know a fair amount of big dudes who dont spend hours in the gym, kitchen, or tanning. They just lift (and obviously take gear). I agree that most women will not dig this. But a really built guy who balances his time most women would want.

Look like this. Nearly every woman I have asked has replied very favorably.  Steve Reeves had what they want.

I agree but who can look like Steve Reeves?

Sure, there are plenty of guy that just lift and go home. The example (a model!) that you've posted however is keen on his diet, trains more than 3 times a week and def brings a visit to a tanning salon. Most women can't/won't accept this time consuming lifestyle, esp not with children.

All coming from this woman?...

Hahaha
I'd refer to this as a Slumpbuster.  There are plenty of women who like the jacked look.  Of course, not all...this would be foolish to assume.
The portrayal of a bodybuilder is someone who goes for the athletic blonde type with implants....which is not true either.  This will of course put off most women who do not fit into this mold.  Reject before being rejected.
There are your group of women who even prefer unattractive guys.  It keeps the attention on them and they feel it's an easy guy to hold on to.
This mediocre bitch on her high horse about not being attracted to bbers is quite funny though...I say thanks for the laugh. ;)

Training 4x/week, sticking to a diet and tanning once a week is more than "most women" will accept?
