Looking at the pics is never, ever a substitute for watching the video - or better yet, being there. I watched it all this year and the fact is that Phil and Kai were both disappointing and not at their best.
To actively dethrone a Mr O you have to be a LOT better than him. Kai simply wasn't. His ship has sailed.
It's a pretty poor Olympia and Phil was not particularly impressive but people are making the leap from a subpar Phil to awarding it to guys that also didn't deserve to win it. That's a leap too far, in my opinion.
