Irreversible has two crazy scenes...




From 14:10 onwards (trainer's house at weekends) and from 1:09:00 (rape scene hard to watch)

I watched it coming down from mdma. So much worse. Rape scene is disturbing, it justifies brutality at beginning, just in reverse order hence movie name.

Also the rape scene in the Devil's Rejects made me come close to stopping the film for a while. I can't find a full length copy, but if you've seen the movie, you probably remember it.

Bah just watched. The music and terrible acting ruin it. Especially at 1:08:00. Almost embarrassing. First scene is rank.

Watched the movie and liked it. Agree rape scene is hard to watch other scene I enjoyed but think he got the wrong guy.

The ending to "Requiem for a Dream"  Just leaves you feeling wrong....



Also there are a few disturbing scenes in that movie "Blindness" as well, that just depresses you!

Just from a visual stand point the rot scenes in this film called "Mermaid in a Manhole" made me turn my face a bit -

They've suffered a bit with Hi-def, but they are what they are. I've actually never seen the film I just remember that the place where I bought my foreign films had it tacked on as a trailer in every Japanese film.

Any movie with rape scenes are hard to watch. Imo, didn't really see the point of putting them in movies. Seems like a cheap gross/freak out gimmick.
