Once charismatic and in decent action movies... Mental illness got to him, with delusions of grandeur, beating up women, hurting stuntmen and movies extra, acting like a dick and a perve, telling fables about his fake badassery... Why Seagal? He could've been idolised like Bruce Lee, JCVD, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Scott Adkins, and other "movie fighters", but he ruined it all... He's a decent marksman though...

Hard To Kill was decent (his best in my opinion), same Above The Law, of course Under Siege... Decent, not great or superb, but very watchable with their moments... Plus at that time Seagal had his aura of invincible badass with no fancy kicks or moves, it was something different in martial arts movies...

that's one of the reasons judo gene put seagal to sleep is seagal has the bad habit of abusing his stuntmen to the point where hes fucking them up pretty bad,broken noses,black eyes,bruised ribs ect.judo gene,who represented the stuntmen asked him in a polite way to tone it down a bit,seagal told him to fuck off basically,bad move steve.rest is history

Still is a bit of a mistery to truly know what really happened with Lebell, Conrad Palmisano said that nothing happened, Diana Lee Inosanto said something was going on but not sure what was, some said that Seagal let Lebell chocke him for showing an escape technique that didn't work... Lebell himself won't tell the true story, probably to avoid legal repercussions... There is also the Francis Fong/Dan Inosanto story...

Out For Justice, up there with the other three decent action movies... Yeah, back in the day he had the look, the charisma and the aura of invincibility like other famous "movie fighters", but he ruined everything with his own hands, and mouth...

Every time I saw a Seagal movie, I always hoped the bad guys would beat the crap out of him. Never came true though.

Inosanto was a stunman in Out For Justice, friend with Seagal... Story goes that one day Steven Seagal was signing autographs in a mall, Dan Inosanto approached him with his friend Francis Fong... When trying to shake hands, Seagal put Inosanto in a joint lock (a thing Seagal loves to do to other people, supposedly), probably to make himself look good in front of everyone... After, he tried to do it with Fong but the guy supposedly bitch-slapped him putting Seagal down, saying that if he tried to do something he'll kill him... Security escorted both Inosanto and Fong out of the mall...
