i've seen a dude with that shit, we used to call him bubbles, he used to go to all the ironpigs baseball games. one time i sat like 4 rows away, it ruined my appetite, something that never happens.... 
When I was a kid, there was a lady that rode the same bus as me that had it. I felt horrible for avoiding her when she got on, but man, when you first see it, it freaks you out. She didn't have it much on her face, or visible body parts, but it started at like the web of her thumb to index fingers and all up her arms and I guess, chest, back, and legs. During the summers, when the weather was hot, you'd see the patches more clearly.
The worst was that they were mostly the small nodules, and being young (10 - 12), i didn't really know that they were fibrous, so I spent the first few bus trips wondering if they'd pop and spray you if you bumped into her, or something.
