Back in the early nineties, there was this inhuman beast who used to cruise around all the gyms in the Central Florida area.  His nickname was "The Link" as in missing link.  His real name was John Caldarelli (last name may be mispelled).  He was around 5' 10" and 315 pounds with vascularity.  I remember watching him shoulder press 365 lb's for two or three and five plates on the bench with nothing more than a tee shirt.  Guy went on to bodybuild and won the South Florida.  He actually competed against Flex the year he won the USA's, and rumor has it if he would have come into the show in shape he would have given Flex a hard time.  After I moved to South Florida, I never heard from him again.  He was profiled one time In Muscular Development or the Canadian rag (can't think of the name off the top of my head).  One funny thing was when he told me that he took just a "lil bit of Equipoise with his Anadrol." Big MOFO.
