Not sure if this helps,

FOX news is the top source for ebola news, to be honest.  Every day, I do a lot of work on cnn, fox, webmd, and 8 or 10 other top medical news sites.  Linking for social media, etc.  So I read 4 dozen to 6 dozen medical articles a day.  Most don't mention ebola much at all.  FOX has 1-2 pieces on the front page each day, and has for weeks now.

People ARE interested in the story, and FOX gives it to them.  "What if it becomes airborne" and other thought pieces, going beyond the news, things like that.  CNN rarely has mentioned it...  maybe 5 stories a week.   FOX has several each day.   And the 'softest", non-consequential news goes to CNN, but a fckign mile.

I'm still hiring if you need a job.

Still waiting to find out what kind of influence 5.56 Nato ammunition has on Ebola.  We've got 3000 US military personnel over in West Africa to fight the disease.  What kind of results can we expect?  How about stabbing it?  Will they be affixing their bayonets?

Nobody loves the Marines more than me but they ain't doing shit.  Nowadays these guys need their lawyers with them every time they fire a shot.  The Govt is hanging them out to dry every which way.  First sending them out to kill and then charging them with "murder" when they do their jobs.  Now they send them to some third world toilet to catch a disease that will liquefy their organs.  Fuck that shit.

Being 100% honest. Don't care if I'm made fun of either. Someone very very very close to me is a top epidemiologist with the CDC and commission corps. She went to Liberia for the virus. Not sure the mission or what her capacity was. But she said that, though it awful there, there wouldnt be an OUTBREAK like scenario here in the states for many reasons. My head isn't in the sand at all. I'm closer to this than anyone on this board maybe. Hysteria and cable news will do more harm than the virus

I'll agree that it won't be like liberia, but that doesn't rule out the economic issues associated with it.

If this keeps growing international flights, will come to a halt.

This isn't just about african economies. It's about fucking up oil demand. Aeronautical companies slowing production etc.

This is huge, and might change the ways in which our globalized world functions.

This is the 3rd fault line on the globalization agenda(911, 2008 drop, were the first two.

This might severely fuck up how we do business around the world.

It's a huge government conspiracy.

They've clamped down on all aspects of leaking information.

Except for Youtube.

And I'll be damned if you didn't bust the whole thing open.

By watching Youtube.

How did you develop your detective skills?

I mean, did you type youtube into a search engine, or were you of the clever sort?

Did you know the url and so went there and then, after that, knew how to peruse their secret files?

Let me ask you a question -

Have you ever considered a career as

Second case

Obama is implementing all of the airport security (without the help of congress) to convince others that he didn't personally inject the 2nd victim with ebola blood.

Which i'm certain he did.

Jesse Jackson: Racism Played Role in Ebola Patient's Death
News Max ^ | Thursday, 09 Oct 2014
Posted on October 12, 2014 12:07:36 PM EDT by COUNTrecount

The Rev. Jesse Jackson and a Dallas County commissioner have accused a Texas hospital of racism in the death of Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan.

"What role did [Duncan's] lack of privilege play in the treatment he received? He is being treated as a criminal rather than as a patient," Jackson wrote in a story for the Huffington Post this week. "As followers of Jesus, we are called to work for the day when those with privilege, most often white people, have greater access to better medical care than those whom Jesus calls 'the least of our sisters and brothers.'"

Duncan, who traveled to Dallas from Liberia on Sept. 20, contacted the disease while in the West African country — which has become ground zero in the current epidemic. He succumbed to the illness Wednesday.

Duncan visited Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital on Sept. 25 after first experiencing symptoms a day earlier. Doctors released him, seeing no major cause for concern. Reports say that Duncan told doctors he had come from West Africa.

The color GREEN had more to do with it, than skin color.

If LeBron went in there (black millionaire) and complained of ebola, he'd be admitted.
If John Smith went in there (random white poor trailer park dude) went in and complained, he'd be sent home, just like ebola victim was sent home.

money, plain and simple.

it's so funny - NEWSMAX is giving Jesse Jackson the platform here lol.  The left sees him as a joke, he's not even welcome in obama's admin... obama hates him and vice versa.  Only the RIGHT likes to make him the spokesman for democrats.  That's like the  left assigning George ZImmerman has the voice of republicans/the right.  Most conservatives look at Zimmerman as a jackass, but the left loves to paint him as the voice of the right.  Same with jesse jackson.  Find the biggest idiot you can, and give them "head democrat" title lol.

BOSTON —Medical crews in hazmat suits have responded to an arriving plane at the international terminal at Logan Airport.

A source told NewsCenter 5 that six passengers on board the flight had become sick.

The plane, an Emirates airliner that had arrived from Dubai, was surrounded by ambulances and emergency responders in white and yellow suits.

Massport, which runs the airport, did not respond to several phone messages on the nature of the incident.

However, international airports around the country are on alert for Ebola, though there was no indication that was related to the emergency response.

HHS Secretary: ‘We Could Have Done Much Better’ Containing Ebola
Bi- Washington Free Beacon ^  | 10-15-2014 | Washiungton Free Beacon

The Washington Free Beacon
 October 15, 2014

Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell said the U.S. government did not sufficiently respond to the Ebola crisis in the United States.

“We could have done much better [on] the oversight of the the implementation of the protocols,” Burwell told NBC’s Matt Lauer on Wednesday.

Burwell said the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention sent a “full team” to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, where Thomas Eric Duncan was diagnosed and treated for Ebola.

Burwell lamented that the implementation of protocols to treat Ebola patients and protect health care workers could have been more robust.

Nurse’s Ebola-exposed dog getting better care than humans
Nurse’s Ebola-exposed dog getting better care than humans

2nd health worker exhibited no #Ebola signs/symptoms on Frontier Airlines flight 1143 on 10/13, but passengers should contact 1-800-CDC-INFO

— CDC (@CDCgov) October 15, 2014

Two nurses infected by an open borders traveler. People exposed to Ebola allowed to travel the country at will. Yet the Obama administration claims they have the Ebola outbreak under control.

This morning the nation learned a second Dallas nurse who treated Liberian national Thomas Duncan has tested positive for Ebola.

Then it was announced the new Ebola patient was flying on a crowded passenger plane just the day before she was hospitalized. Apparently CDC protocols do not call for Ebola caregivers to not travel around the country during the virus’ 21 day incubation period.

Nurses at the Dallas hospital where Duncan was treated have gone public with horror stories of the lack of precautions to prevent the spread of Ebola during Duncan’s treatment there.

The CDC let the family of Thomas Duncan live in Ebola filth in their apartment for days before being relocated under enforced quarantine after the family violated a voluntary quarantine.

The CDC also allowed the family caregiver for Duncan who called the ambulance for him when he was vomiting ‘wildly’ to go shopping and stay in her powerless apartment under a voluntary quarantine.

An NBC news crew was in a voluntary quarantine until Dr. Nancy Snyderman was seen picking up her food at a popular restaurant.

The most attentive care given so far in the Ebola scare has been to the dog of Ebola patient Nina Pham.

Pham’s dog Bentley is under 24 hour police guard at a former naval air station in Dallas with round the clock care.

16 Members of Doctors Without Borders Infected with Ebola, Nine Dead

JOHANNESBURG (AP) — International aid organization Doctors Without Borders said that 16 of its staff members have been infected with Ebola and nine of them have died.

Speaking at a press conference in Johannesburg Tuesday, the head of Doctors Without Borders in South Africa Sharon Ekambaram said medical workers have received inadequate assistance from the international community.

"Where is WHO Africa? Where is the African Union?" said Ekambaram who worked in Sierra Leone from August to September. "We've all heard their promises in the media but have seen very little on the ground."

Four of the organization's medical workers who had just returned from Sierra Leone and Liberia said they were frustrated, "chasing after the curve of the outbreak," according to Jens Pederson, the aid organization's humanitarian affairs adviser.

sounds like the CDC is blaming the idiot nurse for knowingly flying with a 99.3 degree temperature.

would you guys support th CDC quarantining everyone with weapons?
