Amen to that.
When you jump on your bike and hit the trails, you get in the zone.
Cedric Gracia trashing trails with the same bike.
Btw, how's a 29er compared to the regular 26 or 650b? I'd imagine it being a killer for xc and local trails.
thats guys is ripping.
check out a doc on netflix recommended to me called 'where the trail ends'.
the 29er gives up a lot in tighter corners its not as whippier as the 26er would be given its wheel base. but nothing touches it for rolling over root rock and gnar, which the geography up here has plenty of.
you read a lot about 'rolling resistance' and 'all that other shit on forums. i dunno maybe you have to be that 1% that is so good you see a noticeable difference in things like that. like on here i think a lot of that type of info just gets repeated by people who want to look smart

but you do def take less pedal strokes to get the 6er moving, and once the 9er is going it feels faster on flats. once your grinding track fuck it dont matter gravity takes over.
the only things ive found noticeably different between the 26er and the 9er is the tightness of the cornering, but how much better it skips over root and rock. like light years noticeable. to be honest the 27.5 and the 29er are so similar youd have a hard time telling which was which if you were put on it blindfolded. but the differnces i mentioned between the 6er and the 9er are very apparent.
dust the cobwebs off that monster and start rippin again dude. its good for the soul.
