did he catch the mic stand? No way that would make any sound that could be heard in that level of noise!

I'm sure he was when he started... I'm wondering what % of blindness he is now.   He shouldn't know that mic stand is falling.  That's a fairly rare thing that only the quickest of people catch.  There's no way a blind or half-blind stevie should have caught that.

Agreed. Can't trust hardly anything in Hollywood or even the regular media. Everything is a fukcing sham...

Of course not. Ferris Bueller donated his eyes to him years ago.

really makes you wonder....I remember a few years ago seeing him sitting first row at the super bowl...I remember thinking why the hell would you go to a sporting event like that if you can't see anything? Ticket should have been given to underpriviliged child... nothing in hollywood surprises anymore..I don't even think that Paul Mcartney shown in the clip is the same as the original who started the beatles...

yeah, i've caught mics and missed mics onstage, MANY times.   And that's some quick reaction time on Stevie's part.  On a mic that's 2 feet away.  I can barely catch it when I'm singing on it.  catching one that's 2 feet away, with stage volume full... at the bottom of its descent... and TURNING HIS HEAD to catch it in peripherals lol.

Even if they practice that, it's a one in hundred catch.  Not even knowing it's falling?   I'd bet it's an amazing prank, or more likely, they've cured a lot of the vision damage but it's just more profitable to sell him as a blind performer.

he's definitely over-selling the "look, i am blind, you can tell by how i swing my head around" in this video... nothing like his quick and precise catching of a mic stand 2 feet away at bottom of its fall at a live concert lol!

Was looking forward to this being bodybuilding related.

e.g Stevie misses a heavy snatch and avoids being brained by falling barbell.

Why's he always swaying?  I understand when he's singing it's the rythm but in the phone store, walking.  Like he's always listening to music

Or start a fight nearby and see if he gets his phone out to film it shouting "World Star World Star"

Guy goes up to Stevie Wonder and says "It must really suck being blind".

Wonder responds "It could be worse, I could be black".

You don't need eyesight to play a piano and sing.  He's not shooting the eyes out of sparrows at 800 paces.  How is he a 'wonder?'  If you told a blind guy he was amazing for eating spaghetti blind he'd tell you to go to hell.  "Omg that's amazing how can you even know where the bowl is!"

I don't think blind people would like him.  They'd say ya, we can play pianos and there is no WAY your daughter likes that song.  Go to the mall.
