Attended a reunion with some Air Force Security Forces folks I was stationed with in Okinawa in the 80's. One of the guys knew the head of security who got us in and gave us a tour of the place. We went in the back and he went and got the Old Man who was apparently taking a nap from the looks of it. He came out barely walking, shirt unbuttoned and untucked. Hair disheveled and unable to talk. He started to say something and bubbles came out of his mouth. He never got anything out we could understand. He posed for a couple pictures and went back through a curtain. It was sad to see him in such bad shape, but it was very gracious of him to take the time to come out and take a picture with us and shake our hands. He could have easily said no. I hope he was just having an off day.
