I think I'm under the false assumption I need a days-worth of calories to have a full "tank" at the gym

Now I have done empty stomach cardio only at 430 am back in my younger days....that was brutal!

Leave 8:50ish

7 min walk from home door to office.

9:00 at the office

Gym: on the 7th floor where I live which makes it 7 min away from work.

Can't beat that.... But yeah rent is also 2.5k/mo :/

Gym is good - they even provide all kind of free classes. It does have outdoor pool, as well as jacuzzi, sauna/steam room. Golf simulator, pool tables and ping pong table.

It's ok for now... But I'm paying for someone else's mortgage with this money, so yeah buying a place in the nearest future should be my goal.

I might be crazy, but no way does that buy much in Manhattan. New Jersey has the highest property taxes in the country, BTW. I'm thinking Queens, if you get lucky.

That's what Ive been doing for years. Once you get used to it, you will see how much better your day is.
Plus you don't have to deal with crowds and other bullshit.
This step would be another one in the right direction for you.

Did it for years, guy, up at 4:30, fasted cardio 5 days a week, weights when I got off around 5. Get used to it pretty quick, but, like I said, sleepy as hell around noon.
