RIP - Chris Jalali
« on: October 07, 2014, 10:07:23 AM »

From Lonnie Teper

Sad news...Was told Chris Jalali passed away this morning, by several sources. No more details at this point, but according to his FB page underwent surgery on his jaw last week. Not sure if that had anything to do with his death or not but, either way, R.I.

RIP

"Chris Jalali went to be with The Lord today. He passed away in his sleep for reasons that aren't currently known. He had just had a minor jaw surgery on Wednesday to touch up a previous procedure that was necessary because of an auto accident. The procedure went well and he was feeling really good and had even just made plans to attend an upcoming event. In the past, Chris astoundingly survived stage-3 liver cancer years ago after he underwent a liver transplant at the brink of death weighing only 124lbs. Over the next few years his commitment to health, nutrition and prayer bounded him back to a the very healthy shape and condition he was famous for. Chris was a true believer in Jesus as God and savior and attended Gateway Church in Southlake, TX. Chris remains an inspiration to many, appearing on over 6 magazine covers and in countless articles on health and fitness. An amazing father, he is survived by his 6-year-old son.

Send condolences or flowers to Chris' father:

Crazy. Go to bed and don't wake up.

Sometimes Im scared to fall asleep at night, in fear that I won't wake up. You just never know.

Very nice - sounds like his dad wrote it.  Very tough, especially to a 6 year old that doesn't understand anything.

Yes, that is very rough.  The kiddos left behind always tug on my heart.  Wish I was a multi-billionaire at times so I could help all these folks.

Sad for his kid, growing up without a father is probably tough.

Being with The Lord?  You tell children something enough from a young age, they'll believe anything.
This has zero to do with the death.
When someone dies, people will say and believe anything to feel more comfort with the situation.  "He's in a better place."..uh you think so anyway.

Yeah, its weird. Bodybuilders get new organs, then go back to juicing. Not to say that steroids was the direct cause of organ failure, but whey even take that chance?  ??? ???

True, but what was the cause of death in this case? I don't think it was related to his liver. Seems like more and more younger people these days in the industry are dying.
