Never.

Either you do what it takes to reach your goals, or your don't. Wasting time pondering the logic of it is irrelevant
 There is no logic.

Either you want to a BB ot you dont.

I ponder these issues profoundly, questioning the very point of life and our existence here on this pale blue dot in a galaxy of galaxies amongst billions and billions of stars in what seems to be a vast endless universe.

Little ol' me ponders.

Tears in the rain.

A grain of sand on the beach.

Oh brother.  ::)

Oats and rice and a minimum of 100grams of protein.

I never question this. This has been optimal in all ways for me.

And pysical exercise is nothing to scoff at either. I do this several days a week at minimum. I don't question it.

It is also fun and can be healthy. As long as I try to vary it as much as possible. Going to the gym or working out with weights at home or running outside or some cardio at the gym or swimming.

Come to think of it I also really like food. So I have no problem with it eating it, except it takes time to eat and prepare it.

drop some acid or magic mushrooms and you will really see the ephemeral nature of bodybuilding or any kind of body identification, could be anything really.

mushrooms i did as a kid. blew my mind... ;D people used to dry them out , they looked a bit like black tea leaves. A guy i knew did this and packed them in Match Boxes, Scottish Blue Bell ones if i remember right and he sold them in winter. Used to throw some mushrooms in a kettle, boil it and make coffee.. it worked too because the water was full of the chemicals or what ever from the Mushrooms.

Every one in awhile I'll question the whole thing. Asking myself what the point in all this,  I could be doing something better with my time and energy.

Then some random whore feels up my arms and surrenders herself to my rippedness.

Next day I'm back on top of my iron game.

if you question why your doing it then your doing it for the wrong reasons.

  • It’s all a fraud
What you're really doing is questioning the pointlessness of life as a whole.

I believe most people with a brain occasionally wonder if Livia Soprano was right in her assertion that, "It's all a big nothing."

There is a certain pointlessness to it. Just today, I had a Halo-esque volumed arm training session. At the end, my arms were blown up like balloons, well over 18".

I said to my wife, "great workout, my arms are well over 18" now"

Her: "Is that good?"

*drops mic, walks off stage*

I do it for me.

I only question bodybuilding once and it was my first day at the gym, the old trainer started me off with clean and jerk then supersetting deadlifts with pullovers and finishing with bench press and deadlifts he kept yelling at me everytime I tried to rest.
I wondered why I was torturing myself like that and I did not want to go back but I man up and went back the next day and I never question bodybuilding again I became hardcore for life.

I try to do "bb" clean! 36 years old now. Beat my to death every day! To look decent shape! Training 6-7 days a week 2-3 houers, need to eat moderate...done it for 3 years now.  Before just train 3-4 times/week was shubby and strong. Beeing shubby and strong is a fucking dreamlife compared to stay in shape! Just eat a lot of food and train less, never do cardio! So fucking easy...

I will now be using "shubby and strong" in most of my posts.
