I have trouble believing that photo wasn't tampered with. I watched the Olympia on the computer and no one remotely had that density.  They all looked soft and bloated. Now I see these pictures circulating and I have to ask, What the fuck?

What was the resolution of internet broadcast? I didn't watched, but I bet it was sub HD with stutterring and compression artifacts. No wonder they all looked soft and bloated. You can't really compare professional photo with online stream or DVD.
As for the posted photo, it looks like contrast and sharpen filter was applied. It don't gives them more striations than they really have, but accentuates existent ones.
