mayweather can compete with the ufc if he wanted to,problem is he would lose mass amounts of cash for the first year or 2. pride fighting championships already showed the world that if u show a fighter more money he would leave his previous orginization and go with the money, dont forget some of these fighters only get 3 grand to fight and 3 to win, thats a measley 6 grand if u win. everyone always hears about the money chuck used to get or john jones, cain valasquez ect, making a million a year if they fight maybe 2 or 3 times, most people dont hear about the chump change the lower end fighters get. if floyd was willing to up that purse, trust me even guys like jones and cain would take off from the ufc, they all say they r loyal and wouldnt leave, bullshit. i know afew will stay with the ufc but most will go after the bigger paydays cause they know MMA is a sport that can end a career in a blink,it would be pride all over again. mayweather could do it if he wanted to cause hes got the money,if hes willing to take some loss in the beginning that is.MMA is just like any other business in the sense that u need to know what u r doing and research it,speak to people that know the game ect. mayweather has his boxing career on his side cause hes seen some of how promotions are done and what it takes to succeed,i guess we shall see if hes serious or not
here is his first showtime card with his TMT boxers, so he has a deal:
Love was his ace. That problem is, he needs a nutritionist to move down to 154 or 160, because he is no 168 fighter. They can't even get that straight, the correct weight classes for their fighters:
Here is Love getting pieced up by Dirrell, who cost no less than $500,000 to sign with a package deal of fights:
Love and the Bugattis stay and Dirrell is on his way to a Andre Ward show down.
Rigon wanted to fight on his undercard vs Santa Cruz, who chickened out.
Rigon earns $150,000K a fight at 122lbs. You think Lara would hand FMW his ass in a 154 unification fight. If Rigon was a 140-147 fighter, FMW would duck him more than Manny. Note: FMW can beat Manny but his "0" needs to make sure there is enough wear and tear and KOs on him before it takes the fight.
The point is, he don't have the mentality for the promotion side of the business. Most NFL stars can go out and perform on the field but you'd be hard pressed to let them run the franchise.
Have you noticed FMW has no rich friends, just a lot of bottom feeders, security men and women he has to set up in businesses and shit to maintain their friendships. It's said in Vegas that TMT fighters are just happy to hang around FMW, get some Timberland shoes and have a nice car.

Yeah, that's a stable of top fighters.
