New York ComicCon is catabolic
« on: October 14, 2014, 07:48:00 AM »
Went on Sunday with my son.

Lots of dorks, neckbeards and shitty food. Highly catabolic. Many gains were lost.

On the upside, it was pretty cool and my son was in heaven. NYC isn't bad on a Sunday morning, either.

What could be better in life than a 64 ounce Pepsi, a slice of pizza and all the comic books you can read?

Fuck health.

I'm with you on the additional ounce of pepsi and slice of pizza though.

Took my nephew to the Toronto one a while back. Won't be doing that again, I can tell you.

Lots of ass at the San Diego comic con. And the best thing is you'll have a chance at picking them up if you look decent because of all the nerds.

You should always carry a bad of cashews and a white cotton T-shirt just for emergencies like this.

The bigger ComicCons are a lot more than just comics. They are toys and movies and video games. Went to SDCC a few years back and it was the defacto scifi/fantasy convention for Hollywood. A SHIT-TON of ass at that show. This one was only slightly less ass.

saw one legit jacked dude playing the part of a roided out zombie.

Some of the costumes were pretty good, and some stuff for sale was cool...but just far too, too many people. And line-ups. Hate the line-up.

Yeah, the only line I got in was to get the kids lunch. Other than that it was just plowing through crowds of people.

I heard in ComicCon in California has a ton of hot chicks dressed up. NY had a lot of fat guys dressed up as super heroes.
