Actually I enjoy the club more when its not over crowded and at 11pm there are plenty of hot girls all around, if I have not hooked up by 2am its time to call it a night anyhow.

No need to quit because of joint pain just take deca and lots of fish oil.

For me, the trick is to eat much smaller meals. Also, I am definitely an ectomorph. When I don't workout, I always lose weight and some fat. Aside from a little extra skin, my current waist measurement is almost the same as when I was in my twenties. I'm hoping that this inch or so of skin will tighten up some. It's hard to tell what will happen at my age.

Sometimes I think about it and just want to go for the health look but think as a natural I basically have the health look already

I did stop lifting heavy to save my joints and because i think I get better results from 10-15 rep range and using mind muscle connection.

I will train until I can't anymore. The iron stabilizes me. The iron is always there, ready to go. It never complains. Through good times and bad, there is iron. I enjoy lifting too much to ever give it up.

I use to be a good runner when I was young. After college track I stopped most of my running and all I cared about was getting big in my small frame. During most of my 40's I looked really good completely natural. I could never be good enough to compete but vainly I state I used to get complements on my build all the time.

Now at 55 I feel my joints are giving out after decades of power bodybuilding. I have returned to running and I have lost so much muscle running for distance but I feel healthy both physically and mentally. It's hard as you age to deal with diminishing physical ability. I was a sprinter but when I ran with distance guys I could string together 5 something miles pace in my 20's. Now on rare days when I can run 7 something minute pace it feels like I'm almost sprinting. Instead of loading the bar for my deadlifts 405lbs I now do my reps with in the low 300lbs range. Aging stinks. I know there are so many old geezers juicing but it will bite them and then their real physique will be an embarrassment. At least they can pull out a picture from their wallet like all ex juicers do.

Sometimes I wish I was never involved in bodybuilding. It is a sport based on drugs. No drugs would equal no sport of bodybuilding. I ask myself if I would have been better off if I just would have combined body weight exercise and cardio like running. It would have been healthy and hopefully would have preserved my joints. Have you ever met a guy who trained from their teens to their 50's without having a major joint issue? It's really rare.

I heard you are trying to quit drinking remember the only way to break a habit is to replace is with something else, get a gym membership and start lifting some hardcore iron.

Urbemann, I look at the physiques of real athletes like wrestlers, MMA, sprinters, Olympic weightlifters and others and no one has the bloated steroid bodybuilding look. Bodybuilding is a drug cosmetic temporary look. I would rather look like an athlete. I think bodybuilders have a warped perception of what a good build looks like.

I do both. Eat amazing foods from all over the world while travelling. I got the partying covered too.

Does it suck to go thru all that and still look the way you do? I may be wrong but I think you claim enhanced with AAS and the pics I have seen of you definitely look all natural.

Personally, I recently decided that it is good to adapt workouts and diet to one's age. I used to want to be big. Being big takes a lot of hard work, sometimes it means using steroids, supplements and eating like a maniac. These things eventually take a toll on our bodies. My current mind set is to be slim, fit and relatively fat free. To achieve this, I'm scaling back my workout routine, eating less and in general doing things in moderation.

X2.....but I still can't help training heavy and wanting to get really back into it .....then when I get a good 5-6 week run, something gets injured and it becomes a mental letdown....you think 'what fcking now!'.....since my mid 30s it's been roller coaster.....17 years of training comes home to roost.
