ROKU, Apple TV or Amazon Fire TV ?

I have a TV in my home gym and usually watch DVDs while on the treadmill but I want to watch regular cable shows on ESPN, NBC etc...  The cable guy came out but couldn't route cable to my garage because of a firewall separating it from the house.  I am thinking about one of these internet TV thingies like Roku, Apple or Amazon has.  Anyone use one, thoughts?

I own 3 Rokus and like them very much.   Great little bit of tech.

If you have HBO through you cable company you can access a bunch of the on demand content through the Roku.

I access all my digital movies through Flixster and the PLEX channel allows you to connect all your downloaded content from your home computer.

You get can access Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Crackle, YouTube, etc....through it.

Primary weakness of Roku is sports availability.  Although if you have ESPN I believe you can access a lot its content through a Roku channel.

FYI ~ I no longer have cable.   Rokus for streaming online content, antenna to grab OTA HD signal and a Tivo.

i have a "smart TV" samsung and a bluRay sony player, both have their own versions of Internet TV

you just link your paid apps on it and you can view you shit like HBO GO, Netflix an shit like that, they also offer other free apps for free on it that have movies , tv shows and shit like that

There is a ton of free content with the Roku, but for Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus and Netflix you have subscription fees.  In all I pay about $25/month for all three.
