A bodybuilding role model: Jeff King
« on: October 17, 2014, 09:03:20 AM »
Jeff deserves his own thread:

When Jeff left bodybuilding he finished his education in physical therapy and now practices at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA and Greenfield MA.

Yes back in the day.
 ;D
Could not agree more and it's key to know when it's time to move on. He also made sure he got a got a good education.

Jeff's move from bodybuilding to a career in Physical Therapy/allied health may well be the most impressive and respectable path I have ever seen one take through and beyond this sport.  Going from bodybuilding to movie stardom is like winning the lottery: it's not gonna happen for most wannabes, but using your interest in, and passion for, physique culture and training to transition into something like physical therapy, occupational therapy, or professional athletic training is a model for most of these guys to follow.  When you stop to consider how most muscle boys end up (kidney, colon, dead), Jeff is an example for everyone to follow.  Bay likey! 8)

Jeff's NECK deserves its own thread.

Steals focus from everything, maybe more so than Wolf's calves.

Great thread! Jeff King deserves his own chapter in bodybuilding.
Also he was smart enough to know when to quit. One of my all time favorites

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The bigger the head, the smaller your physique looks and the smaller your head the larger your physique looks.

Dude had a very long neck.  I think that's part of the reason why he decided to make it thicker, so as to take focus away from how long it was.
