« on: October 19, 2014, 01:10:03 PM »
I gather there are a few nothern monkeys here  ;)

I'm off to Manchester this coming weekend with my girlfriend,  neither of us have ever been.

Does anyone have any advices on things to do and places to see that are a must?

Can you think of anything there we can't miss seeing or going to?

All we have so far is the cathedral.

If you like Chinese food go to the Happy Seasons in Chinatown
It looks like a transport cafe when you go in but the food is out of this world.

Chinatown is near Canal Street, gay capital of Manchester, great night out even for straights.   ;)
