All sorts of rationalizations take place when one is confronted with information that contradicts that deeply ingrained belief.   You see this a lot in religious types and since ultra-leftist politics shares a lot in common with religion, it makes sense you see that there as well.

u guys dont have any clue whats going on in the world, its not about islam or caliphate its just U.S. propaganda they want their own citizens to be scared of muslims and islam but the main reason is the oil in syria and iraq they dont want kurds to build a kurdish state on these areas thats why they supported isis with heavy weapons and told iraqi army not to fight against them and to left all the weapons for isis..  turkey and north iraq made a deal early this year kurds wanted to sell oil to western countries across turkey and after that ISIS came out and attacked kurdish areas.. turkey is hospitalizing kurdish pyd terrorists who got injured in this war they let all kurds from syria enter the country.. and yet US and West are saying that turkiey is the one who is supporting ISIS its all bullshit propaganda a few days ago US supplied both sides PYD and ISIS with weapons so tell me who is the one supporting this ISIS terrorists?
if the US wants ISIS to be destroyed they can do it in 2 days...
