a very postmodern clash between female and male values. Even though the vissy-doll is in some ways revolting, Arnold can't help but to feel love for the erratic movement in the doll's eyes. Basile enjoys a voyeuristic view of the before-mentioned both grotesque and semi-erotic setting.
