Its kind of like when you meet someone, they always know someone who was a former bodybuilder or weightlifter.  They always say something like, "oh, you should see my son/father/friend/husband/uncle, etc, he is huge." Then you see them and they look like they never lifted a weight, ever.

Thats the absolute worst lol. They say , "he's twice your size" then you see him and not only is he not muscular he probably weighs less than you do hahaha!

Goes to show how little people give a fuck or understand what muscle even is. Weight is weight to them muscle , fat makes no difference.

i hate that so much when people say that shit, or the best is something like man(my uncle benches prolly 700lbs like nothing im thinking there aint to many people on the planet who can bench 700 like nothing.i got to point where i just say wow dude really,then i say bring him in for a free workout maybe he can teach me a thing or 2,lol.as u guys know the uncle never shows cause there prolly was never a uncle or the kid went home and said some guy in gym wants u to teach him something about benching cause ill told him u r benching 700lbs,uncle prolly turns yellow and changes conversation really fast

That ones a classic. Went to wedding and was told by one chick that her brother is "twice my size" with "monster arms". I'm pretty twinkish so didn't care but assumed her brother was some big, muscular dude. Ended up meeting him a few weeks later and dude was just some obese lardass.

i agree,its like that i my gym alot.alot of guys r lookin like they r on the prison yard im walking around having a great time saying hello to people and being freindly in between my sets and exercises,funny thing is i was really locked up for years and shouldnt i be the one walking around trying to look mean these guys feel they have to keep a hard look cause they r insecure of themselves and think people wont try them if they look mean,sad way to live man,its not for me.
