I would never be a member of that party, so it's difficult for me to say.  Bunch of lunatics.  Intellectually bankrupt.  Horrible history (founding the KKK, filibustering the Civil Rights Act, etc.).  Economic policies that are proven failures.  Abject dishonesty about taxes and who actually pays them.  The only reason the Democrat Party still exists is because the Republican Party sucks. 

I don't think they can salvage what they have done.  They will continue to have problems based on the gender ideology alone.  That is an 80/20 issue and they are on the wrong side.
