I think the people who do say these things, start to believe them.

We have BigRo who called himself natural and drugfree because the drugs he was taking were not done in cycle format.

it's more than the legality. steroids have such a stupid stigma about them that even if you're not even in competitive sports, it's going to cause people to cry and scream and hurl feces.

keep in mind most entertainers are up front about what other drugs they've used in their lives, it's not like seth rogen claims he never smoked pot or Denis Leary said he's never done coke. but that's fine in the US.

we're a country where when an athlete is an alcoholic wife-beater they're still a-ok, but take some drugs to perform better and they're a pariah.

Except steroids aren't illegal. You just need a script. Which is absolutely no problem for a man the Rocks age to get from numerous "Doctors". Esp in Hollywood/Beverly Hills area...If older dudes have no problem saying they use viagra or cialis(which you need a prescription for), what's wrong with saying he goes to legal HGH clinics?

The general public doesn't know that steroids are attainable by going to your local doctor's office.

It was actually quite good at not answering.

'They just to negate the hard work' - no denial.
