I recently bought ten 35lb plates for my home gym. They are very useful on T-bar rows. Small diameter = increased range of motion.
.Your t bars rows must be very weak if I put 35 pound plates on the t bar it would be useless you have the strength of a petite woman.
i belong to a gym now that doesnt even have 35 pound plates. i guess they thought they were pointless.
I've always thought the 35 pound plate was kind of the bastard stepchild of the weight room. Its uses are mostly limited to when the hippos in the cardio rooms have stolen every ten pound plate in the gym for some mysterious ritual that still keeps them fat.
It not as bad as those 10 pound bumper plates that are the size of 45's.
You don't really need them. But they do serve a purpose in some cases.
agreed. just throw on a 25 and 10/or two 5s and youre good to go.
I like to use 14, 2.5s myself.
