Barack Obama went on the Frank Ski Show Monday at 4:10 PM.
President Barack Obama attacked Republicans as ‘un-American’ in an interview on Monday.
Obama made the incendiary remarks while speaking to Frank Ski on WHUR-FM, the radio station of Howard University in Washington, D.C.
Howard University bills itself as the “nation’s premier Historically Black College and University.”
Obama called Republicans “un-American” for efforts to ‘restrict the franchise’ of voting by calling for voter ID laws and moving to curtail early and weekend voting.
In April of this year, Obama agreed with a supporter at a Democratic Party fundraiser in Texas who yelled out the Republicans were ‘un-American’ for trying to tighten voting laws. Obama did not say the words himself, though.
“In an equally forceful rebuke to Republicans, Obama accused the GOP of seeking to restrict access to voting in Texas and elsewhere. When one donor shouted out that the GOP effort was “un-American,” the president concurred.
““How is it that we’re putting up with that?” Obama asked incredulously.”
In Monday’s interview, Obama uttered the “un-American” charge unprompted by the interviewer Frank Ski.
