Jeb Bush: 2016 decision coming by year's end
« on: November 03, 2014, 11:49:10 PM »
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush said Monday that if he decides to run for president, he will announce it by the end of the year.

Bush was in Sarasota Monday at a rally supporting Adam Putnam for Florida Agriculture commissioner.

The rally's focus quickly turned to Bush and the 2016 presidential race.

"It's a tough decision. It's a big decision,” Bush said. “I have a blessed life…I don't wake up each day saying ‘I'm unfulfilled, I've got to run for president.' It's not the way I look at it," Bush said.

No more Bushes

No more Clintons

No more Obamas

There should be no "royal blood" in American politics.  Stop the madness.  Refuse to vote for these cock suckers.

I am hardly a fan of Jeb Bush, but let me play devil’s advocate for a moment.  Why do people feel this way about political office holders but seem to have no problem (or even celebrate) when this happens in other fields like sports or entertainment?  If your favorite athlete has a son that goes on to play the same sport (or even with the same team) as his father I suspect most sport aficionados would cheer.  When Michael Douglass follows Kirk Douglass into acting fans swoon.  When Lisa Marie Presley or Drew Barrymore went into the family business fans and critics seem to endorse it.  The president of Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL is Kevin Ross; the president before Kevin was his father Donald Ross.  Just last week the LA Times ran a story about blatant nepotism in the hiring of county firefighters.

This sort of thing seems to be very common in our society, yet the place where people seem to find it most objectionable is in politics where it is literally impossible for a family member to put you into elected office.  Only the voters can do that.

If you don't want a legacy politician do not vote for him.
