The point was he thought he looked great and was going to blow everyone away on the beach.

He saw Strydom and it made him feel like he had wasted his time.

What's the most you've seen him eat in one sitting, Fortress ? You mentioned this in another thread.

Not only looks better than Yates and melted Coleman, but a lot bigger also, both in height and muscle mass... All three still on the juice, Strydom wins, and he started before them...

Shame he had one of narrowest backs going, bit silly to compare him to two of the best backs in history...

Still an inspirational bodybuilder, looking good for decades, which should be the ultimate goal

Anyone know what his training is like? He doesn't have a ripped muscle, or deflated tris. Wow he looks better than ever.

Looks like he didn't get caught up in the insulin trend that ruins bodies. Good for him...

when I saw gary train........he was more into moderate weights and no ego training......I don't think he has had very many injuries.

good blend of machines and free weights.

I trained with Gary many times.  Your comments are correct.

Strange- he rarely ever did forced reps and absolutely refused to do drop sets.    It was weird- he was able to make a great "mind/muscle" connection while training.

Yates had a good blend of barbells, dumbbells, cables, and machines.... But he went too heavy. Hurt himself.

What's the most you've seen him eat in one sitting, Fortress?

We were at the Firehouse in Venice and he would eat one serving of something on the menu and then order something else. Eat that ... and then order something else ... And on and on it went. This was lunch. (If I recall, the food items were classic stuff like eggs, meats, pancakes, etc.) His tab was crazy for a lunch bill. But he was making lots of money and didn't give two shits. And Like I say, the man was gigantic. He was hovering around 285 and perhaps one or two weeks off stage condition. No lie. Put it this way. He could have been well over 300 and still in quite good condition.

Gary's a friendly and smart guy. He doesn't have any conceit in him and has a warm smile wherever he goes.

I've always wished for nothing but the best for the dude. He was very gracious towards me.

It just doesn't make sense.. 54? ffs. I guess T.Freeman will hang around on the stage for quite some time to come then.

What kind of asshole trains so "hard" he repeatedly tears muscles off the bone?

Dorian.

That's who.
