Amazon Echo, new spy machine?

Amazon has this new gadget called "Echo".  basically like Siri on the iphone except this device sits in your house and is constantly waiting for commands from you.  Things like asking for a score, what time is it, whatever....  I beleive this is a new spy device.  Will probably record shit as well.  I can see you talking to a friend mentioning you need a new toaster then all of a sudden Amazon will email deals for toasters or sell your info to some other company to market to you.  Stay the fuck away from this shit.

Getting one for sure. I'd imagine I'll be getting lots of advertisements for grapefruit and white bathroom linen.

You're probably right.  With the NSA listening in and watching through your web cam and all the crap with them storing our phone calls and texts and emails, nothing surprises me anymore.

They work with Facebook closely and like the Gestapo, monitor everything.  Seems about right that they would include Amazon too.  Even if Amazon isn't aware of it.

I requested an invite to purchase one of these a long time ago. I got impatient and bought one off of eBay that will be delivered to my house tomorrow. Today I got the email that said I can buy one from Amazon, those fuckers. Now I'll be able to ask it if something I'm doing is gay or not. This should dramatically reduce my daily post count.
