Immigrants and their U.S.-born children make up more than 40 percent of new Medicaid recipients at a cost of $4.6 billion, according to an analysis of government data.

The Center for Immigration Studies, a low-immigration advocacy group, released a report early Thursday that found both legal and illegal immigrants and their minor children made up 42 percent of Medicaid growth from 2011 to last year.

An exhaustive study by the Heritage Foundation has found that after amnesty, current unlawful immigrants would receive $9.4 trillion in government benefits and services and pay more than $3 trillion in taxes over their lifetimes. That leaves a net fiscal deficit (benefits minus taxes) of $6.3 trillion. That deficit would have to be financed by increasing the government debt or raising taxes on U.S. citizens.

but but but they will pay income tax once they have valid SS#'s too, and all the revenue collected on those $9 an hour jobs will totally offset the cost to the welfare system

as it is, even without the added bonus $$ they will get from EIC once legalized (where they get back even MORE than they pay into the pot in income taxes! Yay!) they cost LA county something like 3 billion a year,  that's ONE county alone

Imagine if the real, total cost of these '10 million illegals' (lol I like how that number hasn't changed since the 90's) was ever exposed in the MSM
