If the doctors are practicing unethically, then they deserve the appropriate punishment. Just because youre a medical doctor for a sports team, it does not mean youre above the ethical code of all doctors around the world. A doctor is a doctor and is bound by the same oath of every other doctor, no matter if they work for a sports team or work in a hospital. So, lets sue and take away a doctors license who is practicing unethically in a hospital, but allow a doctor who is practically unethically for a sports team, to keep his license. Yes, makes perfect sense.
It is clearly idiotic to assume that sport players and the people associated with them are "above the law." Haven't we seen too much of this in the past where famous people (sport players, singers, actors) get off practically scott-free, while the average citizen would be paying out the ass.
I am happy that the DEA is coming down on medical staff who are practicing unethically.
