« on: November 20, 2014, 09:41:16 PM »
Even though I am going to the show tomorrow, I still bought a live feed ticket. Why? Because these guys have done an incredible job promoting this world class event. The best way we can show our support is to get behind them.

That list is crazy, it's like the old Hawaii meets.

Andrey Malanichev
Sarychev Kirill
Eric Lilliebridge
Ernie Lilliebridge JR
Zahir Khudayarov
Dan Green
Eric Spoto (depending on shoulder recovery)
Chris Duffin

Those are the guys I'm most curious about. The biggest being Khudayarov, he's been putting some crazy internet totals/vids up the last few months.

Can hardly wait to see a bunch of roided up sickly looking ego maniacs pop veins in their eyes and squeeze their faces that only a mother could love just to perform one boring movement with an overloaded barbell that nobody really cares about how much it weighs in the real world.  ::)

They would look like fucking shit in any compulsory pose. Only thing they are good at is abusing their nervous system and joints to lift a weight they shouldn't be lifting for a single rep and blow out their blood vessels in their eyeballs and anus.

Eh, I loved Powerlifting and Strongman when I did it. Something to be said about being a strong muthafucka. Just sayin. Got a ton of respect for these guys.

Btw, no hate on you, Juice. I think your posts are hilarious. And I really mean that in a good way. :D

They are not technically that strong, they have just perfected ego lifting technique and CNS abuse methods. Compare them to olympia bodybuilders on strength machines that are not technical at all and they will get demolished, for that is the true test of muscular strength, not getting good at taking your bones and tendons take as much as possible of the load through momentum and andrenal surge in compound free weight lifts.

Kirill pulled #390 and benched #315 , no word on squat, here's the bench -

.

Deadlift race -

.

Longer version -

.

Benedikt Magnusson - 420 kg
Misha Koklayev - 410 kg
Andy Bolton - 417.5 kg
Konstantin Konstantinovs - 400 kg
Kirill Sarychev - 390 kg
Konstantin Pozdeev - 310 kg
Andret Malanichev - 300 kg

Dan Green's best squat was #372, Bench I think was #237, #370 on deadlift. The deadlift is in one of the videos above.

I think Lillebridge didn't get a #1000 plus squat.

Hoornstra was sick, opened high, bombed out.

Although it's still great deadlifting, why are benni & Bolton so far off from
Their own high standards on this lift.
Change in rules / equipment.?

Benni - Bodyweight, injury, and equipment. His best lifts were done at a #20-30 weight increase, and he's had some hand and hamstring problems. Different equipment too.

Bolton - Age, injury, and maybe bodyweight, but I'm not sure.

Benni still looks a Big hefty man.
Bolton does look lighter especially through the back.
Have they changed the length of the bar, as it was
18 inch longer than a IPF bar.

Hell I wish I was some where near to a 400kg Deadlift.
Freaky strong Men.
